About Us

Colorado Sports Physical Therapy was founded in 2018 by Dr. Cathy Campbell, PT, SCS, after she spent nearly a decade practicing with nationally recognized sports and orthopedic practices in New York City.

Dr. Campbell relocated to Colorado to provide the same level of excellence and individualized care to one of the nation’s most active communities.

Since then, the practice has expanded to include:

  • Sports and orthopedics injury recovery and prevention

  • Pelvic health, including bladder/bowel, chronic pain, perinatal, and gender-affirming care

  • Pediatric orthopedics

  • Advanced strength and conditioning programming

  • Return to sport progression

  • Musculoskeletal care for complex medical diagnoses

  • Worker’s compensation and no-fault

We strive to provide patient-centered care to meet the needs of our community in an empowering and positive environment. At CSPT, we know that no two injuries are ever alike and we create an individualized treatment plan for each patient. We use techniques like manual therapy, exercise, and activity-specific training to create an experience that meets each individual's specific needs.

Rehab

Rehabilitation is the cornerstone of physical therapy. Following an injury, surgery, or childbirth, our team works with you to address impairments, rebuild strength, and restore function. Whether your goal is returning to competitive sport or simply keeping up with the demands of daily life and family, we’re here to help you get back to what matters most. Our clinicians are experienced in treating a wide range of conditions—from common injuries like ankle sprains to more complex cases such as pelvic pain and neck dysfunction—and everything in between.

Recover

After an injury, childbirth, or surgery, your body needs time and the right support to fully recover before taking on new challenges. We help you better understand your body’s signals—knowing when it’s appropriate to push forward and when to prioritize active rest. By building this awareness, you can move more confidently, train more effectively, and ultimately become a stronger, more resilient athlete.

Prevent

Preventing future injuries is essential to maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle. If you’ve experienced an injury before, your risk of reinjury is often higher—but with the right approach, that risk can be significantly reduced. Our team works with you to identify areas of weakness, imbalance, or limitation, especially if you’re preparing for an upcoming event or returning to activity.
